Pitmain Estate have advised that they will begin felling storm damaged trees at the north end of the Golf Course Circular (from sixth of golf course towards Loch Gynack) for the next three weeks. There will be temporary diversions set up by the estate during this period and during another three week period in September

The KCDC Hydro Fund recently contributed to the community garden operated by the Badenoch and Strathspey Therapy Gardens to help them purchase new composters. KCDC recently made an award from the Hydro Fund to help Kingussie Bowling Club purchase a new scarifier. Ian Moffett and Sandy Maxwell from KCDC were shown the new equipment by Ian Smith and Kenny Reid from the Bowling Club.
KCDC has had further communication from Pitmain Estate about their approach to clearing fallen trees as follows: Tom Baraidh Woods The paths within the wood should be cleared this week but this will be paths only.
